Irish whiskey has grown from a handful of working distilleries to more than fifty in little over a decade, and it has no annual record. BONDED is the first reference written to mark each year in Irish whiskey as it happens, meticulously researched and verified distillery by distillery.
It serves two readers at once. The visitor who has just finished a distillery tour and wants to dive deeper into the category, and the enthusiast who already knows their pot still from their malt and grain.
The first edition is limited to 3,000 hand-numbered copies.
Every working distillery and bonder on the island, profiled by province with more than sixty original hand-drawn illustrations, alongside commissioned essays, the year's defining releases, and a practical guide to visiting.
The first edition takes Irish single pot still whiskey as its subject. The style that is Ireland's own, and the one now at the heart of a proposed amendment to the Irish Whiskey Technical File.
